5 Weeks to More Talking — Join Cohort 1 Now!
I know what it feels like to wonder…
“Am I doing enough?”
I’ve been there.
When my son Lucas started showing signs of autism, I was overwhelmed, scared, and desperate for someone to tell me what to do. Instead, I found conflicting advice, long waitlists, and far too much uncertainty.
Over the years, I’ve learned something important.
Kids who do the best have at least one parent who becomes their child’s best teacher and advocate.
Therapists are invaluable—but they simply can’t spend as much time with your child as you can. Plus, let’s face it- you have the most vested interest in your child catching up.
Real progress happens not only during the special language sessions you’ll learn about but also during everyday life.
At breakfast.
During play.
In the car.
At the store.
Bath time.
The little moments you already share.
That’s why I created 5 Weeks to More Talking. To teach you the same evidence-based strategies I use with families every day—so you can help your child learn throughout the day, not just during therapy.
Twenty-seven years ago, I wish someone had handed me a program like this. Today, I get to hand it to you. I hope you’ll join me.
Mary
Before you can help your child communicate more, you need to know exactly where they are today.
We’ll help you stop guessing and start seeing your child’s strengths, needs, and next best steps.
Exactly where your child is starting—and the skills that should become your biggest priorities.
Many parents focus on speech alone.
We’ll show you how to create a plan that builds communication while improving learning, behavior, and independence.
What to teach first…what can wait…and why your plan matters more than doing “more therapy.”
Progress isn’t just about what you do.
It’s also about what you stop doing.
We’ll answer your questions, review your homework, and teach you the biggest mistakes I made and that most professionals and parents make that keep children from making progress.
Why some strategies work—and how to confidently choose the ones that fit your child.
This is where everything comes together.
You’ll learn exactly how to teach communication throughout your day—not just during therapy sessions.
How to confidently teach communication during playtime, meals, routines, and everyday life.
By now, you’ll have a better handle on your child’s unique strengths and needs and should be seeing some progress with language and an improvement in joint attention and cooperation.
Now it’s time to create a plan for what comes next.
Exactly what your next step should be so your child’s progress doesn’t stop after Week 5.

Absolutely. In fact, you are the most important member on your child’s team.
Your child spends far more time with you than with any therapist or teacher. When you know how to turn everyday moments—playing on the floor, eating meals, getting dressed, bath time, reading books, or running errands—into learning opportunities, those small moments add up to meaningful progress.
You don’t need to become a therapist. You just need to know what to do during the moments you’re already spending together.
That’s exactly what 5 Weeks to More Talking is designed to teach.
Yes. Whether your child isn’t talking yet, uses only a few words, or is beginning to combine words, this program will help you build the foundational skills that support communication. Talking starts with engagement, imitation, play, and learning—and you’ll learn how to strengthen all of these areas.
No. If you’re concerned about your child’s communication or they’re showing signs of autism or a developmental delay, you don’t need to wait for a diagnosis to begin helping them. Early action matters.
The lessons are designed for busy families. You’ll watch short, easy-to-follow videos (under an hour each week) where you’ll learn strategies you can practice during everyday routines, so you don’t need to set aside hours of extra therapy time.
Because 5 Weeks to More Talking is designed as a complete implementation program, all sales are final, and we do not offer refunds.
We want every family who joins to be ready to learn, practice, and take action over the five weeks. And, since we know life can get in the way- for this program only, we are offering lifetime access, so you can go at your own pace and never feel behind.
If you’re unsure whether this program is the right fit for your child or your family, we’d much rather help you decide before you enroll. Email us at [email protected], and a member of our team will be happy to answer your questions and help you determine your best next step.
Yes. The program is grounded in the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), verbal behavior, naturalistic developmental teaching strategies, and over 25 years of my clinical experience helping thousands of children and families worldwide.
Think of this as the missing piece before your child starts any therapy or between therapy sessions. You’ll learn how to support your child’s communication during the many hours you’re together each week, helping reinforce and expand their language.
Many of the strategies will still be helpful for older children with language delays. We recommend this for anyone with a child who is functioning at a 1-5 year old level. If you’re unsure, please email us at [email protected], and we will help you get started.
Yes, for cohort 1 we are building the program live. The first week we will meet live, but it will be recorded to watch when you can, so no pressure to show up live to get all the benefits. We will be creating this brand-new program based on the needs, reactions, and questions of everyone who joins.
Each week you will have the opportunity to complete a survey to tell us your wins, get or give feedback, and ask us any questions you have.
