There are 6 Modules in the Turn Autism Around® online course. Each Module is split into 3 or more easy-to-watch video lessons. The homework (which is not turned in or graded) will help you apply all the concepts learned. The total time it takes to watch the course is approximately 10 hours, so most participants spend 1-2 hours per week to learn these life-changing strategies.
The Turn Autism Around® online course is used by parents and early intervention professionals to help young children ages 1-5 years old who are diagnosed with autism or who do not have a diagnosis of autism but have social and language delays. Many of our members are worried parents who are waiting for evaluations and more/different treatment and want to learn proven strategies to help their child immediately.
One of the true advantages of this program is the fact that you can access the video lessons and content as well as the online community at any time no matter where you are located. In fact, since Dr. Barbera’s online courses were first launched in 2015, we’ve had members from over 90 different countries spanning 6 continents.
Yes, the Facebook Group is very active and monitored on a very regular basis by our community manager and other professionals, including Dr. Barbera, who can discuss the course and answer your course questions. Due to ethical and legal requirements, however, we cannot offer specific programming advice for your particular child or client. But we will guide you as you learn from the materials and help you apply the concepts. Best of all if you get stuck, we will help you. In addition to the Facebook group, live Q&A Calls with Team Barbera are held twice per month and recorded for those who cannot attend live.
