It was a book in high school that inspired Dr. Megan Miller to pursue a career in autism; now she’s a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, a published author, an expert on behavioral procedures and one of my very good friends. She’s also a guest on podcast episode 7, where we talk about escape extinction.

She offers valuable insight and out-of-the-box thinking when traditional methods may not produce desirable results.

Megan and I both share a common goal: for children with autism to have access to high-quality ABA services. We’ve known each other for a decade, and have presented together several times in the past.

Megan is the creator of the Do Better movement, a series of webinars on advancements in autism intervention.

She also started a Facebook group for the Do It Better movement, for both behavior analysts and parents to interact and better their knowledge on autism intervention. Megan herself connects with members and refers them to different courses or books they might find helpful.

Megan’s ultimate goal is to help further advancements in the autism community, and to offer more successful ABA methods; those changes start with you and me! She, like the rest of us, just wants to help children with autism lead their safest, happiest lives by sharing knowledge and resources for proper training.
